Our Mission

The Women’s Ministry of the World Harvest Community Center and our faithful staff are committed as a team to serve the women of this church and beyond. Our mission is summed up in four words; Prayer, Evangelism, Fellowship and Mentoring.

Our goal is to see the women of World Harvest Community Center mature in their spiritual walk with God, strengthen their relationship with one another, mentor other women and empower them to be all God intended them to be. We believe God has called us to seek, win, train and empower as many as would desire to do ministry.

To love, build and empower women to be all that God has purpose for them to be…

The men of Bay Ridge Christian Center are committed to building godly men to serve Christ in their home, church, work place and community. Our goal is to provide opportunities specifically designed to equip men in Biblical principles applicable for today where men can grow connect with other men, mature and become the leaders, husbands, fathers and servants that God has designed us to be.

Walking Tall Men’s Ministry provides a great environment in which men come together and enjoy a time of fellowship and growing in the Lord. From worship and music, to the studying of the Word of God, we work together to minister in areas specifically related to men; and to develop personal friendships with other men that carry on year after year in Christ.

There are a many opportunities for men to come together and fellowship around the Word of God. This includes monthly group fellowship, special event breakfast gatherings, men’s conferences and annual retreats. The purpose of fellowship is to build one another up in the faith, hold each other accountable, pray for one another’s needs, and encourage each other to continue pushing forward in our walk as followers of Christ.

Single But NOT Alone – is intended to encourage singles to come to the understanding that God would have us utilize this season of being Single to serve Him without limitations.

33But the married man is anxious about worldly matters-how he may please his wife. 34And he is drawn in diverging directions [his interests are divided and he is distracted from his devotion to God]. And the unmarried woman or girl is concerned and anxious about the matters of the Lord, how to be wholly separated and set apart in body and spirit; but the married woman has her cares [centered] in earthly affairs–how she may please her husband. 35Now I say this for your own welfare and profit, not to put [a halter of] restraint upon you, but to promote what is seemly and in good order and to secure your undistracted and undivided devotion to the Lord. I Corinthians 7:33-35 (AMP)

We are ONE body (Romans 12:4-5), and each of us belongs to one another. Each of us has a vital part to play in the expansion of the Kingdom of God, (Ephesians 2:10.) Our prayer is that as we come alongside one another, we would build each other up, encourage one another, support each other and celebrate one another; for we are Single But NOT Alone.

[BRCC Single Mom’s Ministry believes there is a covering that carries us during the difficultlies of being a single mother.

  • Our first covering is our Kingsman redeemer, the Lord almighty.
  • Following him we are under Bay Ridge Christian Center’s Daughter’s of the King ministry’s covering.
  • We are a group of women that are in need of supporting one another, sharing with one another, empowering one another, lifting one another up and simply being there for one another. Sharing eachothers victories as well as keeping eachother saturated in prayer.
  • We look forward to coming together as sisters for great fellowship, fun, testimonies and partaking in the Love of a God who has a special place in his heart for single mothers.
